Step 1: Get Organized
Start your cabinet refacing project by evaluating your kitchen and determining how many cabinet doors need to be replaced. Make a detailed list of all upper cabinets, lower cabinets, and all drawer fronts.
Measure each door and drawer separately and record their measurements in your list.
Check out this video for more information on how to measure doors properly.
Step 2: Select the Style and Finish
The cabinet style you select will be the number one design element with impact in a large cabinet project such as a kitchen, bathroom, laundry room or office. At My Cabinet Doors Direct, you can choose from a variety of styles, such as Shaker Cabinets, Slab Cabinets, Square Corner Cabinets or cabinets with Applied Molding.
Once you determine the style you want, choose your finish from among 16 color and finish options, including gloss, matte, satin and woodgrains. Some color options are also available with matching cabinet backs.
Depending on your project, you may need to add matching laminate veneers to your order to ensure all exposed cabinet surfaces match.
Step 3: Submit Your Order Online
Take your time and carefully add each door or drawer front with the measurements you need. Double check your order before finalizing and checking out. You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your receipt.
Please note that orders placed with 10 or fewer cabinet doors or drawer fronts will receive a surcharge of $20 upon checkout.
